Fellowship

The Scout fellowship was set up for anyone over the age of 18 who is interested in joining Scouts Australia but not wanting to commit to becoming a leader. Scout fellowship is a unique position because its roles and membership are fluid to meet immediate needs, be they activity or mentoring related. This means that we support the golden west region at camps, on youth nights and other regional activities

Our aim is to maintain contact between adults in the Scouting movement and to provide service to its youth. Becoming a leader within Scouting is not always an option for adults. Fellowship is a way to continue your involvement in Scouting without the regular commitment of Rovers or adult leadership.

TGW Scout Fellowship started in 2020 and we currently have members in Orange, Mudgee, Warren and Dubbo. We are hoping to expand our fellowship to all the areas of The Golden West Scout region

We meet online once a month for a quick catch up and bring up events that we may like to participate in. We try to meet every three months for a weekend camp.
